Meet Saryea murchison | president

Saryea N. Murchison is a charismatic and engaging on-air personality with more than 26 years of broadcasting experience and a passion for connecting with listeners. Known for her quick wit, relatable storytelling, and deep love for gospel music, Saryea was a beloved voice on WGLB AM 1560 for more than 22 years. Today, she can be heard on her online station, HD Higher Dimension Radio. Whether sharing the latest gospel hits, discussing trending news, or conducting live interviews with celebrities, artists, and community influencers, Saryea brings warmth, energy, and enthusiasm to every broadcast alongside her co-host, Mr. Dennis Walton.

Saryea began her distinguished radio career in August 1998 while attending the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, where she studied communications and hosted a campus radio program. She later attended Governors State University, earning her master’s degree in communications in 2004. Her natural ability to inform, inspire, and entertain led to opportunities to travel to South Africa and Cuba, attend the Stellar Gospel Music Awards, the SOAR Awards, and numerous other gospel music events, and work alongside many respected gospel artists and industry professionals.

Expanding her vision beyond broadcasting, Saryea founded HD Global Media Group, a full-service global media, marketing, promotions, graphic design, and printing company. Through the company, she has successfully provided media relations, marketing, and promotional services to businesses, churches, nonprofit organizations, event planners, and community leaders. She has also worked closely with independent artists to strengthen their brands, expand their visibility, and create platforms that showcase their music to broader audiences.

Saryea is deeply committed to her faith and community. She is an active member of Pentecostal Power Church under the leadership of her uncle, Bishop Dr. Ellis Murchison Sr. She also serves as the founder and president of HD Community Enterprise, a nonprofit organization established to address community needs through education, advocacy, outreach, and service. Through the organization, Saryea hosts health and wellness educational sessions, community resource events, food giveaways, and other initiatives designed to encourage healthier lifestyles, strengthen families, and support underserved communities.

As a two-time kidney transplant recipient, Saryea is a passionate advocate for kidney health, organ and tissue donation, blood donation, and equitable access to healthcare. She received her first kidney transplant in November 2010 and her second in October 2024. Her personal journey has inspired her continued service as an advocate and volunteer with the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin and Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin.

Through broadcasting, entrepreneurship, media relations, artist development, ministry, and community service, Saryea remains dedicated to informing, inspiring, empowering, and uplifting others. Her life and work are guided by her personal mantra: “Keep God first in everything, because only what you do for Christ will last.”

Mr. Dennis C. Walton is a native of Milwaukee, WI, a Community Organizer / Social Entrepreneur and Activist by trade and at heart that believes that know corporation or business endeavor can truly succeed if it does not serve the interest of making people and communities a better place. Mr. Walton in his leadership capacity works with the highest level of government officials and business leadership locally, nationally and internationally. His professional experience consists of being a Campaign Manager, Political Strategist for local and national elected officials, Legislative lobbyist, Group Facilitator and Community Activist. As an Entrepreneur, Mr. Walton has owned and operated successfully numerous community-based businesses such as the first community Montessori childcare, convenience stores, as well as being the founder of Growth & Development Y.E.A.R.S and Growth & Development Women's Resource Center, in one of the nations most distressed communities.

He has professional background and experience in commercial and residential real-estate development, finance, business development and entertainment. Mr. Walton was previously the Site Coordinator for the Building Neighborhood Capacities Program (BNCP) a federal program commissioned by President Obama to help residents and families in Milwaukee WI, Amani Community become more engaged and active in civic duty and resident-based solutions to address the issues of violence and resident leadership.

He was the Resident Leader for the Amani community where his focus was to change negative community systems through resident engagement which leads to resident empowerment. He was the former Outreach Coordinator and Co-director for the Mayor of Milwaukee, Fatherhood Initiative (MFI), Shared Studios Global Portal Director, Co-host of one of Milwaukee’s most popular talk radio programs and assistant producer, organizer and feature in one of Milwaukee’s most successful film documentaries Milwaukee 53206 and Founder of Made Men Worldwide. Mr. Walton has committed his life to fighting and eliminating disparities and injustices that exist in Milwaukee. 

Mr. Walton was also the co host of the number one voted radio show, the WGLB Gospel Music Morning Mix for eight years. He works relentlessly to bring forth viable, intelligent, and practical solutions that will heal, social ills in our community, nation and the world.

Mr. Walton is also a loving and devoted father of three children two boys and one girl.
